This latest SRC XR8 with green high polymer body. This line from SRC is a completely newly designed and gun: metal gears, metal gear box, magnifying scope, top of the line construction.
The XR8 is the name of a lightweight assault rifle that was under development by the United States Army, a project which was in development throughout the late 1990s to the early 2000. Like the real XR8, it comes fitted with an integrated optical sight. The scope on this SRC is a 3x adjustable aluminum scope, and comes with flip-up front and rear sights too. Whereas the real version uses composites for its body, the SRC uses ABS plastic, keeping a low weight while remaining sufficiently sturdy. This SRC is a replica of the Carbine variant of the XR8, which has a shorter barrel than the XR8 sharpshooter. It comes with a rubberized handguard grip and extendable stock. The flash-breaker is made from metal, as are other internal parts such as the steel gears and metal hop-up chamber. The performance is backed by an Ultra-high torque motor, which produces a decent 330 fps out of the box, and it comes complete with two 470 round magazines.
